Michael returns on this week’s episode to discuss all of the fun FREE activities that the Allegany Arts Council is offering during the Month of April. Make sure you stop by the gallery all month to enjoy all of the national talent.

Event Schedule 

Saturday April 2, 2016 from 10am-2pm: Photo Bootcamp learn Photography with the pros! Go on a scavenger hunt with a camera and create a piece for the gallery show. . Michael Hunter Thompson and Darrin Isom, instructors.

Saturday April 2, 2016 from 4pm-7pm: “Bike Trail Sunset Photo Safari”-Gather for a fun photo excursion and competition along the C&O Towpath and Great Allegany Passage bike trail

Friday April 8, 2016  at 7:30 pm at the Allegany Museum: Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom: Contemporary Photography and the End of Isms” talk by Stephen Perloff, founder and editor of “The Photo Review.”

Sat., April 9, 2016 5:00pm  “Cameras: Then and Now” opening at the Allegany Museum.

Sat., April 9, 2016: Opening reception for the Allegany National Photography Competition & Exhibition. 6-8pm, Saville Gallery. (Awards ceremony will be held at 7pm, 2nd floor above the Gallery.)

Saturday April 23, 2016 2pm at the Arts Council.: Gallery talk with photography Prof. Robert Hein of Frostburg State University.
