David Hill
David Hill is the founder of Free indeed Ministries, a non-profit located at 201 N. Centre Street in Cumberland, MD. David started out life in Baltimore MD and his path in life lead him here. David started the Hope Against Heroin in Allegany County raising awareness about the opioid epidemic in our area. He has been an outstation "life coach" for those around him for the past 28 years. David's story is one that should inspire you to put kindness and love into your community.

April 11, 2019 will be the second annual county-wide Day of Civility, marked by special events and programs across the county by Choose Civility partners.
All Libraries - All Day Food for Fines
All branches of the Allegany County Library System will hold Food-for-Fines Day on April 11. This is our annual day of the year when patrons can reduce their fines by turning in cans or boxes of non-perishable food. Each can or box given will reduce your fine by $1.00. A maximum of $10.00 can be reduced off each library patron’s card. The food is given to the Western Maryland Food Bank.
